Welcome to Suffield Park Bowls Club in Cromer, Norfolk. We offer lawn green bowling on one of the best greens in North Norfolk. We are a very welcoming and friendly club catering for bowlers of all ages and abilities, whether social or competitive.

New members are very welcome. Make new friends through playing or through our active social calendar throughout the year. We have rollups on Monday evenings and Thursday afternoons which is a great time to just turn up and see what its all about.

We play two formats of the game - Association (Bowls England) and Federation. Only a handful of greens in North Norfolk meet the higher standards required for Association bowls and this is the format played throughout England and all over the world.

 

Federation bowls is popular at our club as it allows us to play against teams from local villages with varying qualities of greens (the requirements are less stringent) and this can present some very different challenges!

 

Typically we play Association bowls in friendly matches and in the Wednesday men's and ladies leagues and Federation bowls in the Tuesday evening mixed county federation league and the NANSA leagues (afternoon triples and evening pairs).

 

We also have internal club competitions that all playing members can take part in and opportunities for social bowling, which is how many players get started.

 

Our club has a fine purpose-built clubhouse with a main function room of 75 sq. m., comfortably seating 60. There is also a separate kitchen and well-stocked (very reasonably priced) lounge bar.

There is free on street parking adjacent to the club.

Our clubhouse is available for hire to local groups, organisations and individuals for events (birthdays, weddings, parties) when not in use for bowls.

Facilities for disabilities - we have extra-wide paths and ramps for access to the clubhouse and green, along with an accessible toilet with room for a wheelchair. Assistance dogs are welcome.
